MEET OUR FAMILY

Shadow

We learned that our neighbour's cat had recently had kittens. I saw Shadow standing in her doorway one evening and asked her if she was missing a kitten. She said yes and told us if we wanted her, we could keep her. That kitten was Ginger. I then asked her if she wanted to find a home for her little black kitten because my husband had always wanted a black cat. She let me take her home to show him and it took us only 15 minutes to decide to keep her. We named her Shadow. She and Ginger are littermates and have two very different personalities.

Pippin

He is my baby. On Christmas Eve 2004, I went online to look around for puppies. I came across a breeder who was expecting two litters within two weeks. I let them know that I was interested in a black & tan male. Out of two litters, one born December 28, 2004 and the other born January 8, 2005, they only had one black & tan and it was in fact, a male. On a weekly basis we were sent emails so we could watch him grow. We brought Pippin home on March 8, 2005. He's been one of the best dogs I've ever had!

Zack

When we picked up Pippin, my husband saw Zack and fell in love with him! Unfortunately for us, our breeder was keeping him due to his unique markings so they could breed him later. June 2005, they emailed us to say that they'd decided not to breed him and were giving us first choice. So, my Mom and I drove 4 1/2 hours to pick him up! He was my husband's Father's Day present that year! He's an amazing dog with a glorious personality! He's very, very sweet natured.

Bastian

Meet the newest addition to our family. His name is Bastian. He's a Chocolate & Tan Miniature Dachshund and was born April 5, 2008. When he is old enough, we will be breeding him with Chloe.

So...now you've been introduced to our family. As you can see, our puppies will have plenty of socialization before they go to their new homes!
